Hello, Roosevelt Family! My name is Mrs.Hamblen, I am beyond thrilled to welcome you to a brand-new school year! For as long as I can remember, I’ve known that my heart belonged in a school. There is truly no place I’d rather be than right here at Roosevelt Elementary, high-fiving our students at the gate and seeing those bright smiles every morning. My mission is simple: I want every single child who walks through our doors to feel seen, loved, safe, and completely empowered. We aren't just a school here—we are a family, and I am so deeply committed to keeping our special 'small community' vibe alive and thriving!

While my energy and love for our kids are what you’ll see every day, my background is rooted in 15 years of passion for education. Before becoming your Principal, I served as a Dean of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment, and spent many wonderful years teaching Leadership, History, AVID, and Link Crew. I’m a firm believer that when we build strong relationships first, there is no limit to what our students can achieve academically. I am so incredibly grateful to be part of this involved, caring community, and I can’t wait to partner with you to make this the most positive, joyful year yet. Let's go, Roosevelt!

Hey everyone! My name is Mrs. Woodard, and I am so honored to be your Vice Principal here at Roosevelt. This is my 12th year with our incredible community, and I can truly say that every single day brings me just as much joy as my very first. Our wonderful students, dedicated families, and amazing staff are what keep me coming back with a smile each morning. Whether I’m visiting classrooms or stopping by the cafeteria, the absolute best part of my day is seeing your children's faces.
